Pentecost
The West Indian Franciscans are hosting an all-night Pentecost prayer vigil at Franciscan House on St. Croix on Saturday, May 26, at 9 p.m. until Sunday, May 27, at 6 a.m.
The Charismatic Regional Service Team will host a Pentecost rally at St. Ann Church on St. Croix on Sunday, May 27, at 3 p.m. Deacon Joseph Mark will be the main speaker.
The Catholic Charismatic Renewal Team will be hosting a Pentecost rally at Columban Hall on St. Thomas on Sunday, May 27, at 3 p.m. The theme for the rally is “Holy Spirit Fire.” The guest speaker will be Kyle Dardaine of the Companions of the Transfigured Christ community in Trinidad. The goal of the conference is to renew the fullness of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the faith community.

Catholic Daughters Luncheon
The Catholic Daughters of America, Court 2049, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a luncheon at Columban Hall on St. Thomas on Sunday, June 3. Original charter members Patricia Jones, Corinne Lockhart, Valerie Moorhead, Carmen Sibilly and Elise Valet will be honored. The event will also include a priests’ appreciation ceremony. Tickets are available at parish offices for $40.

Youth Retreat
The Diocesan Youth Ministry, St. Croix chapter, is hosting an “Encourage, Energize and Encounter Christ” retreat for youth 14-19 years of age at St. Gerard Hall on June 29-July 1. The weekend includes praise and worship, dancing, games and a talent show. The presentations and workshops for the weekend will focus on self-identity, sex, understanding the Mass, forgiveness and the Blessed Mother. Registration forms are available at parish offices. A $25 registration includes meals for the weekend. The deadline for submitting the form is May 27.
